Maltego Hades Transform

Prerequisites:

  1. Maltego XL (Commercial Edition): To use the Hades Transform, you must have the licensed Maltego XL (Commercial Edition). The Community Edition does not support this transform.
  2. Access to Hades Transform: Ensure that you have access to the Hades Transform. You can obtain access and licensing information for the Hades Transform from the official Transform Hub.

Step 1: Obtain Information from Hades

  • Visit the official Transform Hub page for Hades using the link provided above.
  • Look for documentation or resources related to the Hades Maltego Transform, including installation instructions and API access details.

Step 2: Install Maltego

If you don’t have Maltego XL installed, you need to download and install it from the official website. Ensure that you have a valid license for the commercial version of Maltego XL.

Step 3: Access the Transform Hub (if applicable)

  • Open Maltego XL.
  • Go to the “Transform Hub” tab on the main dashboard.

Step 4: Search for Hades Transforms (if available)

  • In the Transform Hub, use the search function to look for Hades transforms.
  • If Hades has developed Maltego transforms and made them available on the Transform Hub, you may find them here.

Step 5: Install Hades Transforms (if available)

  • Click on the Hades transforms if you find them in the Transform Hub.
  • Select “Install” or “Add to Maltego” to add them to your Maltego XL installation.

Step 6: Configure Hades Transform

  • In Maltego XL, click on the “Transforms” tab.
  • Select “Manage Transforms.”
  • Locate the Hades transforms you’ve installed.
  • Enter any required configuration settings, such as API credentials, in the transform’s configuration. Follow the instructions provided by Hades for configuration.

Step 7: Use Hades Transforms

  • Close the “Manage Transforms” window.
  • Create a new Maltego XL graph.
  • In the “Transforms” palette on the left, you should now see Hades transforms (if installed).
  • Drag and drop the Hades transforms into your graph.
  • Configure the transforms with the necessary parameters for your specific use case, following the guidance provided by Hades.
  • Run the transforms to perform the desired operations or analysis using Hades’ capabilities.
